“I create sculptures from hand-built clay and found-objects that capture the essence of feelings, emotions and thoughts coming through to me while I am handling the clay or object.  I begin with a vague preconception of what I will be making.  Then, the creation takes on a life of its own and I always become the bystander, the voyeur of the process. Found objects from the environment including wood roots, bicycle parts, wire, raffia, weathered metal, colored glass and feathers complete the design. ”.
